Setup Steps

Create Bot in Telegram

Open Telegram and search for @BotFather then send the command /newbot

  • Open Telegram app on your phone or computer
  • Search for @BotFather in the search bar
  • Click Start to begin the conversation
  • Send the command /newbot

Name Your Bot

BotFather will ask you to enter a name for the bot then a username

  • Enter a display name for the bot (e.g., My Store Support)
  • Enter a username ending with bot (e.g., mystorebot)
  • Save the API Token that will be sent to you

Copy the Token

After creating the bot, you will get an API Token. Copy and save it.

Login to Thikaa Platform

Login to Thikaa platform and go to integration settings

  • Go to the dashboard
  • Click on "Bot Hub"
  • Select "Integration Management"

Add Telegram Bot

On the integration page, select Telegram and paste the token

  • Click on the "Telegram" card
  • Click on "Connect Telegram Bot"
  • Paste the token in the designated field
  • Click "Save" to complete the connection

Yes, Telegram is completely free with no additional fees. The integration is included in your Thikaa plan.

Can I connect more than one bot?

You can connect one bot per Thikaa account. For more bots, you need additional accounts.

What if I lost the token?

You can get a new token from @BotFather by sending /token and selecting the bot. The old token will be revoked.

Does it work with groups?

Currently the bot works in private chats only. Group support is coming soon.
