Thikaa vs n8n for WhatsApp Automation — from $9.99/month
Comparison 2026

Thikaa or n8n for WhatsApp automation?

n8n is a fine automation tool and this page does not pretend otherwise. But when the job is "an Arabic WhatsApp bot that answers my customers", you start on Meta's per-message API and build the AI and the inbox yourself.

The short version

The two tools do not solve the same problem

n8n — a wiring tool

It connects systems: when this happens, do that. Very good at that job, run on your own server or on their cloud.

  • WhatsApp goes through Meta's Cloud API — billed per conversation
  • Needs a Meta billing account and business verification
  • The AI is yours to build: the key, the prompt, the memory
  • No team inbox — you build one or do without
  • Arabic dialects and voice notes are a project of their own

Thikaa — a messaging platform

It owns the layer where most of that n8n time goes: the channel, the bot, the conversation and the team.

  • WhatsApp on your own number by QR — no per-message fee
  • A bot that already reads Gulf, Egyptian, Levantine and Iraqi Arabic
  • A shared inbox where a human can take over mid-chat
  • Voice notes: understood, and answered by voice
  • A REST API and signed webhooks — so n8n stays in the picture

Side by side

For building an Arabic WhatsApp bot that answers your customers

What you need Thikaa n8n
Connecting WhatsApp QR scan on your existing number, two minutes Meta Cloud API: billing account, verification, approval
Cost per message None on the QR route Meta bills per conversation
The AI Included — pick the provider, switch in a click Your key, your prompt, your separate bill
Arabic dialects Answers in the dialect the customer wrote in Something you tune in your own prompt
Voice notes Understood, and answered by voice Assembled from separate services
Team inbox Shared, with a mobile app Not part of it
Human takeover The bot goes quiet the moment an agent replies Logic you build into the flow
Other channels Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and TikTok in the same inbox A node per platform, each with its own account and keys
Who runs it Hosted — no server to maintain Your server, or their cloud subscription
Starting price $9.99/month + $1 per 1,000 conversations n8n subscription + Meta bill + AI model bill
Why the QR route matters here: Because it removes the one line with no ceiling. A subscription is a number you know in advance; per-message billing rises exactly when your marketing works, so you pay most in the month you did best.

What $9.99 covers

$9.99 / month
  • ✅ One WhatsApp QR number + one Cloud API number
  • ✅ An AI bot on WhatsApp
  • ✅ Appointment booking
  • ✅ One workflow + one integration
  • ✅ Every AI provider

AI usage is $1 per 1,000 conversations, and a conversation is counted once however many times the bot replies. Meta, TikTok and Telegram channels start on Starter at $19.99.

Or use both

This is the honest recommendation for most teams

Thikaa owns the conversation

The channel, the reply, the dialect, the voice, the handover. The layer your customer sees.

n8n owns everything else

An incoming message starts your flow, which writes a row in your database, opens a ticket or updates the CRM, then sends the reply back through the Thikaa API.

  • A messaging REST API across every channel
  • HMAC-signed webhooks for incoming messages
  • Available on every plan

When to pick which

Pick n8n alone if…

  • WhatsApp is not your main channel
  • You have a developer to maintain the flows and the server
  • Your messages are notifications, not conversations
  • No human ever needs to step into the chat

Pick Thikaa if…

  • Your customers write in Arabic and send voice notes
  • You want to start this week, not next month
  • Your team needs one shared inbox
  • You want a bill you can predict before the month starts

Common questions

Can I run a WhatsApp bot on n8n without paying Meta per message?

Not through the official route. The WhatsApp node in n8n uses Meta's Cloud API, which bills per conversation and needs a billing account and business verification. Thikaa's default connection is a QR scan on your own number, the same mechanism as WhatsApp Web, so messages travel through your own account with no per-message fee.

Does Thikaa replace n8n?

No, and it does not try to. Thikaa owns the messaging and AI layer; n8n stays better at wiring the rest of what you run. There is a REST API and signed webhooks, so an incoming message can start your flow and the reply can be sent from it.

How much work is an Arabic bot on n8n?

The flow itself is easy. What takes the time is dialects, memory across turns, stopping the model inventing prices, an inbox a human can step into, and voice notes. Those are product problems rather than workflow steps, and they are exactly what a platform is for.

What about the other channels?

Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and TikTok land in the same inbox and start on the Starter plan at $19.99. TikTok covers direct messages and comment replies.
